Comedy has become increasingly difficult to locate in contemporary art and photography. When considering the idea of social identity, Maxwell Anderson decided to imbue inanimate objects with human-like qualities. In this series, Anderson photographed discarded traffic cones. Looking with a light-hearted perspective and finding a certain humour in these particular objects, redundant as they are and forced to live perilously on the streets of South East and East London.
