Downside Skate Jam
Published December 2025.
Edition of 35 copies
56 pages + cover
Trim size: 190×240mm (portrait)
Xerox printed, concealed three hole sewn with yellow thread by hand, decorating tape with hand written title with Posca pen on cover.
On a rainy autumn night Maxwell Anderson attended the Downside DIY skatepark in Tottenham Hale for their halloween skate jam. DIY skateparks have become more popular and professionally built than ever before, with Downside being one of London’s best, developed under the shelter of the A1055 overpass. The skatepark trustees encourage inclusivity and it attracts one of the most diverse and welcoming environments in the skateboarding community, often providing workshops on park building skills and actively supporting people who want to get involved.
On the 31st October 2025, the Downside community held a halloween skate jam, with bands, DJs and giveaways.
